Proverbs Pathway - Finding Your Way God's way

Hello Friends,

We're making progress on the Proverbs Pathway - finding your way God's way. Let's focus on Proverbs 8:12-21 which is all about walking along side the Lord, who is wisdom. These verses are chock-full of need-to-know, wise-up truth for living.

And there's a particular "blessing" to receive and "condemnation" to avoid connected to taking in and living out this wisdom stated in verses 34-36: "Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorways. For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord." Let's investigate LIFE.

Life from God, a life that's spiritual, eternal, personal and matters more than anything else. This is the life that is life - no counterfeits will satisfy or stand the tests of life and time.

Internal - by this I mean that it all begins in the "inner man", the "inner woman", the person who's really driving your life's ambitions, dreams, goals and experiences. This is where God begins creating a real Christian life.

Faith - meaning to "believe God". Not merely believe "in" God, but believe God. It's the kind that overcomes the world, doubt, fear and uncertainty because it roots us in God as our Father, His Son Jesus Christ as our Savior, and the omnipresent person of the Holy Spirit as our 24/7 encourager, comforter, teacher and guide into all truth.

Enabled - because God is able we are able too. We can overcome our inadequacies, our fear of being found out, our shortfall of confidence, our lagging behind our goals and dreams. God enables - it's the center of our relationship with God when we become a Christian. Saved by grace, enabled by His Spirit - this is our birthright from the new birth Jesus championed.

May we walk in the Lord's wisdom because it enhances life. May the Lord help us to live the life".
